- How does the COOLWALL® System compare to those coatings claiming to be "ceramic"? The so called "ceramic" coatings actually are ordinary coatings that have had small ceramic spheres added. Even though these coatings may be applied heavier than ordinary paint, there simply is not enough thickness to effect insulation of any measure. These ceramic coatings have been debunked by the Department of Energy and the Federal Trade Commission and they do not increase reflectivity.
- How long does it take to install Radiant Barrier in my attic? It typically takes one day.
- What is Radiant Barrier? Radiant Barrier is a special type of reflective foil attic insulation that acts as a radiant heat barrier; meaning it actually blocks the transfer of radiant heat.
- How does it work? Radiant Barrier simply acts as a radiant heat barrier by reflecting radiant heat back in the direction which it came from. So, in the summer, when the majority of heat comes in through the roof, Radiant Barrier will reflect the sun’s heat BEFORE it penetrates your home. In the winter, as heat rises and tries to escape from the ceiling and roof, Green Energy Barrier will reflect that heat back into your home.
- Do I need to have other insulation in my attic in order for this product to be effective? No. Radiant Barrier may be installed on top of your present insulation or stapled under your rafters or crawl space. Regardless of how much or how little insulation you have in your attic, Radiant Barrier will save on your heating and cooling expense and will keep you much more comfortable.

- How can I prepare my house for my replacement window/doors? Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Please provide our installation with a clear path to the window/doors being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way.
- What happens to my old window/doors? After installing your new window/doors we remove every bit of debris from your property and dispose of it properly.
- What do I do if there is a problem with the window/door? In the rare occasion you have a problem with your window/door, please call or email us and we will have our service manager fix your window/door.
